Bison’s Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) program is a cornerstone of our company culture. We take pride in putting our employee’s safety first and committing to industry-leading HSE practices. We are a member of the Energy Training Council and require all new hires to go through SafeLand Orientation. By utilizing both in-house and third party HSE training programs, we ensure that our employees are always equipped with the skills, the tools and the experience to get the job done and get home safe.
All of our services are provided by experienced operators with up-to-date safety training. Every new employee participates in our in-depth safety orientation before stepping on to a customer location and is required to keep current with applicable safety training and certifications.
Our full-time safety officers and staff manage all aspects of training, screening and coordinating on-the-job safety procedures. In addition to weekly safety meetings, a job safety analysis is performed before, during and after every job as needed.
Maintaining a safe, drug-free work environment for our customers and employees is of the utmost importance to everyone in our company. We adhere to a strict drug and alcohol policy that exceeds FMCSA and DOT standards. We have zero tolerance for any failure to comply with our policies and we implement thorough pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.
All of our employees are equipped with well-maintained PPE. In addition to fire retardant clothing, hard hats, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection, we have monitors available for H2S locations and offer any other safety measures requested by our customers.
